Sql Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale SQL Server database solutions and data warehousing platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and modern data integration technologies.
• Design and implement scalable SSAS Tabular/Multidimensional models to support analytical and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain operational, regulatory, and management reports using SSRS, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and application teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards across reporting and analytics platforms.
• Perform code reviews, establish development standards, and promote best practices for database and BI development.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on database, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Support cloud-based analytics and data modernization initiatives leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.

Required Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong experience in Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, CTEs, Window Functions, Dynamic SQL, Query Optimization
• Advance SQL skills including Indexing Strategy, Database Performance Tuning, Partitioning, Database Security, Backup & Recovery, High Availability Solutions
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing SSIS ETL solutions
• Experience with all SSIS transformations including Lookup Transformation, Merge Transformation, Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) etc
• Strong Experience working with: Control Flow, Data Flow Tasks, Script Tasks, Package Configurations,
• Strong expertise in Deployment of solutions in SSIS Catalog (SSISDB)
• Experience in ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience developing SSAS Tabular and/or Multidimensional Models.
• Advance skills in building KPIS, Cube Design, Partitions
• Good Knowledge of MDX, DAX, Semantic models
• Good Expertise in building reports using SSRS, Power BI: Row-Level Security (RLS), Incremental Refresh, Gateways, PBI Service
• Strong experience developing visual analytics and dashboards using Tableau.
• Expertise in: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, LOD (Level of Detail) Expressions, Story Telling

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Data Factory, Data Pipelines
• Experience with: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Data Engineering, or Microsoft Fabric will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.
