SQL DBA

We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA with strong expertise in Snowflake administration to design, manage, and optimize data platforms. The role involves driving governance, security, performance optimization, and cost efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define platform vision and roadmap for Snowflake and data infrastructure
• Standardize environments across development, testing, and production
• Implement security controls including RBAC, SSO/SCIM, MFA, and network policies
• Manage data masking, auditing, retention, and compliance requirements
• Optimize Snowflake warehouses for performance and cost efficiency
• Govern data ingestion using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Monitor system performance using resource monitors and query history
• Handle incident and change management processes
• Collaborate with engineering, InfoSec, data governance, and finance teams

Required Skills:

• Strong experience as a Snowflake Administrator
• Advanced SQL expertise
• Experience in data governance and data security practices
• Knowledge of cloud storage integrations (AWS S3 / Azure ADLS)
• Experience in incident and change management
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices

Preferred Skills:

• 10+ years of experience (Architect-level candidates preferred)
• Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
