Sports Analyst- Intern

Company Description Statslane is an AI-driven sports video analytics platform dedicated to enhancing performance in racket and court-based sports, including badminton, pickleball, padel, and basketball. By leveraging advanced AI technology, the platform provides coaches and players with critical insights, statistics, and performance metrics directly from game footage. Statslane empowers users to make data-driven decisions for improved gameplay strategy and development.

Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Sports Analyst. The Sports Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sports performance data, gathering insights, contributing to scouting reports, and assisting in developing analytical content. Other responsibilities may include collaborating with team members and providing actionable insights to improve performance in various sports contexts.

Qualifications

• Strong Sports Analytics and Scouting skills
• Analytical Skills for evaluating and interpreting sports performance data
• Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate with teams
• Knowledge of sports and other competitive games
• Passion for analytics and sports with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in using analytics tools and familiarity with sports data platforms is a plus
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Sports Management, Data Analytics, or a related field is an advantage.
