Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Noida. The Salesperson will identify and engage prospective clients, present The Economic Times advertising and digital solutions, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely execution of campaigns in coordination with internal teams. The role also involves tracking sales performance, updating CRM tools, analyzing market trends, and providing feedback to strengthen product offerings and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client requirements and propose relevant media or digital solutions.
• Experience in business development, account management, or corporate sales, preferably in media, advertising, or digital products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment, manage multiple accounts, and maintain accurate sales documentation and reporting.
• Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and basic data analysis to track performance and prepare reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with editorial, marketing, and product teams to deliver effective client solutions.
• Knowledge of the business news, financial markets, or media industry and an interest in economic and political developments in India.
