About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and develop sheet metal parts using Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, and other relevant software.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models for production purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and GDTs (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Job Requirements :
- 3-7 years of experience in SPM (Sheet Metal Parts) design engineering.
- Proficiency in DFA (Design for Assembly), DFM (Design for Manufacturability), NPD (New Product Development), and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials science.
- Experience with creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor.
