Splunk Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards to provide real-time visibility into security event data.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents using Splunk's investigative capabilities.
• Develop custom scripts in Python to automate tasks, integrate systems, and enhance the overall efficiency of Splunk deployments.
• Provide expert-level support for IT operations teams by analyzing log data from various sources (e.g., servers, applications) to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats.

Job Requirements :

• 6-10 years of experience working with Splunk or similar logging platforms.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and ability to work on command-line interfaces (CLI).
• Proficiency in writing custom scripts in Python for automating tasks or integrating systems.
• Experience with incident response procedures and best practices.
