Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform heat and mass balance for the Refinery.

Ensure Timely upgradation of SOP.

Conduct regular and detailed technical analysis of the Refinery.

Implement advanced process control systems to monitor and adjust operations for optimal performance.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of process parameters and performance metrics.

Conduct SPC and Cp/Cpk analysis for key process parameters.

Perform RCA and implement corrective actions for process and quality deviations.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for process and quality improvement initiatives.

Develop and monitor refinery KPIs and performance dashboards and performance metrics.

Achieving internal customer satisfaction through improving internal responses.

Ensure the production of goods Gold that meet or exceed industry standards.

Address any quality issues promptly to maintain product quality.

Maintain strong relationships with internal customers by addressing their needs and ensuring consistent product quality.

Drive plant improvement and sustainability initiatives through benchmarking, adoption of best practices, implementation of Kaizen suggestions and execution of continuous improvement opportunities.

Emphasize waste reduction and decreasing the carbon footprint.

Implement pilot projects to test the effectiveness of new technologies before full-scale adoption.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process stability, recovery and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, resource conservation and loss reduction.

Identify opportunities to enhance metal recovery and increase production from slime.

Flag the issues to relevant teams for timely actions and avoid unplanned breakdowns.

Track benefits from process improvement initiatives.

Support techno-economic evaluation of improvement opportunities.

Share technical knowledge and learnings for individual and team development

Collaborate with external agencies and research institutes to resolve technical bottlenecks and develop new technologies.

Engage in industry forums and workshops to stay updated on technological advancements.

Conduct training and capability-building programs on refinery processes, SPC, Cp/Cpk and troubleshooting methodologies for shopfloor and technical teams.

Facilitate technical knowledge sharing and dissemination of best practices across refinery operations

Introducing new ways of doing daily tasks with available automation techniques/software.

Spread awareness about digitalization among operators and managers.

Participation in workshops/trainings.

Address the challenge of conventional working and thinking methodologies among plant personnel.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive process advancements.

Develop and maintain digital dashboards and automated reports.

Promote data-driven decision making through process analytics and performance monitoring.

Support adoption of digital tools for process monitoring, reporting and analysis

Provide training and development programs to encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
