Role description Job Description: SAP ABAP Consultant S4HANA CDS Expert Role Objective The SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant will be responsible for designing and developing HANAoptimized solutions with a strong focus on CDS Views and code pushdown techniques ensuring high performance and scalability in S4HANA environments Key Responsibilities 1 ABAP on HANA Development Design and develop CDS Views Basic Composite Consumption Implement advanced CDS concepts associations annotations joins table functions Develop AMDP procedures for HANA pushdown logic Build data models aligned with Virtual Data Model VDM 2 S4HANA Development Migration Perform custom code remediation for S4HANA conversions Handle simplification impacts Business Partner ACDOCA etc Support upgrade activities SPDDSPAU adjustments 3 UI Integration Expose CDS Views via OData services SEGW RAP Work on Fiori enablement using CDS annotations and UI integration Develop interfaces using IDOC RFC API Web Services 4 Performance Optimization Apply code pushdown techniques using HANA CDSAMDP Perform performance tuning using ST05 SAT Ensure adherence to Clean Core SAP best practices 5 Core ABAP Development Work on RICEFW objects Reports Interfaces Enhancements Forms Expertise in OO ABAP BAdIs User Exits Enhancements BAPIs Required Skills Strong handson experience in oCDS Views mandatory strong expertise oABAP on HANA S4HANA oAMDP OData RAPBOPF Experience in S4HANA implementation migration projects Knowledge of data modeling performance optimization on HANA Familiarity with functional modules FISDMM for debugging design
