Specialist - General Ledger

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we re looking to add a in Specialist - General Ledger in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Analyze Various nature of accounts in the GL Module.
• Review and Prepare various entries in GL Module (Amortizations, Accruals, Allocations etc. )
• Review Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance.
• Review, Reconcile and Resolve Intercompany Variances.
• Extract Reports from the Reporting tool to perform reporting commentary/analysis.
• Prepare schedules to Balance Sheet as per GAAP Requirements
• Support various audits in providing transaction analysis, reconciliation for timely completion.
• Support Corporate Accounting Tax team for timely completion of statutory filings.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to follow-up and close GL Module in ERP.
• Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects.
• Exposure to various financials automation/data projects will be an edge over others.

The experience we re looking to add to our team:

• M Com / MBA(Finance) / CMA (Intermediate) / ACA (Intermediate)
• Deeper understanding of various Accounting Standards (US/IFRS/Ind AS).
• Basic understanding of various audits/taxes applicable.
• Good written/oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Basic exposure to MS presentation Skills.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
• Flexible to work in shifts.
