Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Spartacus Developer with strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Angular, TypeScript, and headless commerce architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining scalable eCommerce storefronts using Spartacus while integrating with SAP Commerce Cloud backend services.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in modern frontend development, REST API integration, and delivering high-performance, responsive eCommerce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce storefronts using Spartacus (SAP Composable Storefront).
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate Spartacus storefronts with SAP Commerce Cloud backend services using REST APIs and OCC (Omni Commerce Connect).
• Implement and customize storefront features such as product listing, product details, shopping cart, checkout, customer accounts, and order management.
• Work on headless commerce architecture and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Customize Spartacus components, layouts, routing, and CMS-driven content.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Spartacus / SAP Composable Storefront.
• Good understanding in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Hands-on experience in REST API integration and OCC services.
• Understanding of headless commerce architecture and eCommerce workflows.
• Experience in developing reusable Angular components and services.
• Knowledge of RxJS, Angular routing, state management, and dependency injection.
• Familiarity with Git and frontend build tools.
• Good understanding of debugging, performance optimization, and browser compatibility.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud upgrades and Spartacus version migration.
• Knowledge of SAP CMS, SmartEdit, and CMS-driven storefront configuration.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma.

Experience

• 4–8 years of overall experience in frontend development.
• Relevant hands-on experience in Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud development.
