Space Samagra - PMC - Project Engineer - Civil / MEP

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Civil QA/QC Engineer with extensive exposure to and high-rise residential construction preferably with aluminium shuttering technology. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspections, surveillance activities, NCR management, workmanship monitoring, and ensuring execution compliance with approved drawings, specifications, methodologies, and ITPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections for structural and finishing works in high-rise residential projects.
• Verify works with respect to approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, methodologies, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Perform detailed drawing study and identify discrepancies/issues prior to execution.
• Raise RFIs (Request for Information) wherever required.
• Carry out surveillance inspections to monitor workmanship, construction sequence, and compliance.
• Identify quality deviations and issue NCRs, observations, and snag reports.
• Monitor contractor execution practices and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Review construction methodologies and execution sequences before work commencement.
• Coordinate with client, contractor, and internal QA/QC teams for quality-related matters.
• Assist Team Lead in preparation of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
• Maintain proper inspection records, checklists, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to approved quality procedures and project standards.
