Job Overview:

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to ensure the availability of

high-quality and cost-effective products. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong

supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and driving initiatives to enhance product quality

and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
• Evaluate and assess suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and ethical

considerations.

Negotiation and Contracting:

• Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Draft and finalize contracts with selected suppliers to ensure compliance with

company policies and standards.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost

efficiencies.

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain product

quality standards.

• Monitor and address quality issues, working with suppliers to implement corrective

actions.

Cost Management:

• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings without

compromising quality.

• Implement strategies to optimize costs and improve overall product margins.

Market Trends and Benchmarking:

• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor

activities.

• Conduct benchmarking exercises to ensure the organization remains competitive in

terms of product offerings and pricing.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, and

Logistics, to ensure seamless product launches and availability.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical

issues, and other factors that may impact the sourcing process.

Data Analysis:

• Utilize data analytics to assess supplier performance, track key performance

indicators, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and supplier landscape within the Home

category.

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
