Sourcing & Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure footwear materials and components.
• Plan purchases as per production and export requirements.
• Manage vendors, negotiations, pricing, MOQs and delivery schedules.
• Control costs and develop alternative suppliers/materials.
• Handle purchase orders, imports and domestic sourcing.
• Ensure material quality and compliance with buyer standards.
• Monitor inventory, lead times and material availability.
• Maintain purchase records, MIS and ERP systems.
• Lead the purchase team and coordinate with internal departments.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; supply chain qualification preferred.
• 45 years of procurement experience, preferably in footwear or leather manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of footwear materials and supplier networks.
• Excellent negotiation, cost-control and vendor-management skills.
• Experience in purchase planning, inventory and team management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
