About this role
Job Description
- Development- Managing end to end development of all components(mainly Sheet Metal,Plastics Electrical) for all new projects while developing a win-win relation for customer requirements and supplier needs.
- Sourcing- Ensure timely launch of new projects and ensuring all compliance items are met with a cost and quality sensitive approach. Support for Vendor development- domestic and overseas.
- Quality Management- Must have a strong quality acumen and enforce quality standards. Will be working closely with Supplier Quality and Plant quality.
- Vendor Selection upgradation- To ensure qualified suppliers are selected for the development and work closely with Quality teams to uplift existing vendors capability.
- Process Improvements- To monitor and improve the utilization of set controls and have excellent stakeholder management to ensure internal processes are followed while balancing the project time-lines.
- Project Control- To control the overall project launches for SCM function and drive team to set targets.
- Data Management- Ensure data accuracy for each phase and gate for the project including but not limited to BoM updates, supplier approval status and cost of each material.
- Price Management- Should be able to support should cost models for Sheet Metal,Plastic Electrical categories
- Compliance to the statutory audit requirements - Adherence to SOP and compliance requirement per customer and market needs.
