Sourcing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to source high-quality fasteners at competitive prices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new part development opportunities and implement zero-based costing strategies.
• Manage vendor development activities, including negotiating pricing agreements and ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic sourcing decisions.

Job Requirements :

• 5-7 years of experience in component development, forgings, or similar field.
• Strong understanding of fastener manufacturing processes and materials science.
• Proven track record in price negotiation and supplier development.
• Excellent customer handling skills with ability to build strong relationships.
