SoundHound Engineer (Conversational AI Engineer)

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer (SoundHound) to support the design, development, and optimization of guest-facing conversational AI experiences for a casino customer upgrading from SoundHound V6 to V7 (Amelia 7.0). This individual will serve as a technical subject matter expert for SoundHound's next-generation platform, helping build and maintain agentic conversation flows, integrations, and automation capabilities that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency across the resort. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing SoundHounds Amelia 7.0 solutions, developing agentic workflows, integrating enterprise systems, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate customer experience goals into scalable AI-driven interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience with SoundHound V7 (Amelia 7.0)
• V7 agentic prompt engineering experience
• Experience building agentic conversational flows and workflow automation
• Strong understanding of conversational AI, NLP, and chatbot architecture
• Experience integrating AI platforms with enterprise applications and APIs
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production AI environments
• Hospitality, casino, hotel, or guest-services industry experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy conversational AI solutions within Amelia 7.0.
• Build and enhance agentic workflows, dialogue paths, and automated guest experiences.
• Support migration and optimization efforts from SoundHound V6 to V7 (Amelia 7.0).
• Integrate capabilities with resort applications, guest services platforms, and operational systems.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Document configurations, workflows, and best practices.
