SOTIF Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

Strong understanding and practical experience with ISO 21448 (SOTIF). Experience in developing and deploying SOTIF processes, methods, guidelines, and templates.

Hands-on experience in:

Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)

Triggering Condition Analysis

Functional Insufficiency Analysis

Scenario-Based Safety Analysis

Safety Validation Strategy Development

Understanding of ADAS and Autonomous Driving functions such as: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)

Parking Assist Systems

Knowledge of perception technologies including Cameras, Radar, LiDAR, and Sensor Fusion.

Experience with safety work products and requirements management tools.

Functional Safety Knowledge

Good understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety concepts. Experience working with Functional Safety engineers and safety lifecycle activities.

Ability to understand interactions between SOTIF and Functional Safety requirements.
