The Role We are looking for an experienced

Senior Consultant Engineer – Solution Design & Integration to lead solution design and technical architecture for enterprise Identity & Authorization platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in

solution architecture, microservices, API integration, Java-based technologies, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and banking integrations . The role involves designing scalable authorization solutions, collaborating with multiple delivery streams, resolving technical challenges, and driving secure enterprise architecture aligned with Zero Trust principles.

Responsibilities · Design end-to-end solution architecture for Identity & Authorization platforms. · Create, maintain, and govern the Authorization Design Catalogue. · Design secure integration solutions using APIs and microservices. · Work closely with Release Train Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, and Delivery teams. · Interpret business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions. · Design authorization policies using RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and XACML models. · Provide technical leadership across multiple Agile delivery streams. · Resolve complex integration and architecture issues. · Ensure secure API communication and enterprise integration standards. · Drive solution alignment across different platforms and applications. · Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Design Reviews. · Prepare technical documentation using Confluence and related tools. · Act as Product/Platform SME for Identity & Authorization solutions. · Support policy development, governance, and access control frameworks. · Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.

Must - Have Qualifications: · 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Solution Design or Solution Architecture. · Strong experience in Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications (development experience preferred). · Hands-on experience in designing Microservices-based architectures and API-driven integrations. · Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. · Strong understanding of REST APIs, API lifecycle, and enterprise integration patterns. · Proven experience in Banking/Financial Services domain with exposure to enterprise application integrations. · Strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Authorization solutions. · Experience in the Identity and Access Management space including relevant protocols and standards such as OAuth, OIDC, FAPI, SAML, LDAP etc. · Exposure to enterprise security technologies such as SSL/TLS, PKI, Key Management, Firewalls, Networking, and Load Balancing. · Experience designing and implementing authorization models such as: o RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) o ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) o ReBAC (Relationship-Based Access Control) o XACML (eXtensible Access Control Markup Language) · Experience in enterprise solution design, technical documentation, and design governance. · Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API management. · Experience in banking domain and their integrations via services · Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with Ping Authorize, Ping Directory, ForgeRock, OpenDJ, PlainID, Axiomatics, Oracle Entitlements Server, or OpenAM. · Experience with SSO (Single Sign-On), MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), and enterprise identity federation.
