Solution Architect (SA)

Experience requirements

• Total experience: 12+ years in enterprise IT architecture, platform engineering, or solutions design
• Atlassian-specific experience: 6+ years in Atlassian Cloud platform architecture, administration, and migration design
• Cloud migration architecture: Minimum 4 Atlassian migration Programs in an architect capacity (Server-to-Cloud and/or Cloud-to-Cloud)
• BFSI / regulated industry: At least 2 engagements involving banking/financial services, with exposure to security architecture, SSO/SAML, and compliance controls

Certifications (required / preferred)

• Required: Atlassian Certified Professional Jira Administration (Cloud)
• Required: Atlassian Certified Professional — Confluence Administration (Cloud)
• Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional — Managing Jira Projects (Cloud)
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent cloud certification
• Preferred: TOGAF 9 Certified or equivalent enterprise architecture credential

Hands-on Atlassian accelerator & enabler experience

• JCMA/CCMA: Deep understanding of migration assistant internals — mapping tables, conflict resolution, re-run behavior, limitations, and error handling
• Atlassian REST APIs (v2/v3): Hands-on experience scripting against Jira and Confluence Cloud REST APIs for bulk operations, field mapping, permission audits, and reconciliation
• Atlassian Forge / Connect: Familiarity with Forge scheduled triggers or Connect apps for automation use cases (delta triggers, notifications)
• Configuration-as-code: Experience defining Jira schemes, workflows, and Confluence configurations in a declarative, repeatable manner (JSON/YAML exports, Scriptrunner, or equivalent)
• SSO/SAML/SCIM: Hands-on experience configuring Atlassian Access, SSO via SAML 2.0, and user provisioning via AD/SCIM
