Solution Architect Retail ERP

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and support enterprise solutions for a global Retail ERP environment. The role involves designing integrations between ERP, POS, CRM, and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow, real-time synchronization, scalability, and optimal system performance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Retail, ERP, POS and enterprise system integration, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions and architecture designs.
• Design and implement solutions integrating Retail ERP, POS, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Define and maintain technical architecture for retail systems, ensuring interoperability, scalability, flexibility, and data consistency.
• Design and support enterprise integrations and data flows between multiple business systems.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges related to integration, data synchronization, security and system performance.
• Prepare and maintain solution architecture and integration documentation, including design specifications, data mapping, APIs and configuration details.
• Work closely with development, integration, QA and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Communicate technical concepts and proposed solutions effectively to business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support implementation, testing, deployment and production activities.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in the Retail domain, preferably working with Retail ERP and related systems.
• Strong understanding of ERP and financial processes.
• Experience with POS, CRM, OMS, eCommerce or other Retail systems.
• Experience with Microsoft ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 Dynamics AX/F and O, Dynamics NAV, or Business Central is preferred.
• Strong experience in enterprise system integration and solution design.
• Hands-on understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with messaging/event-driven technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar platforms.
• Experience with ETL/data integration, as well as enterprise integration platforms, is preferred.
• Experience with platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or Azure Integration Services is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, data synchronization and integration architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred: Retail ERP, POS / Store Systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, SAP Retail / SAP ERP, OMS / Order Management, eCommerce / Omnichannel Retail, CRM integrations, Payment integrations, API-led integration, Cloud integration platforms.
