Solution Architect - Private Banking

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and deliver scalable, secure, and pragmatic technology architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Lead solution architecture initiatives across large and complex technology environments.

- Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions and architecture designs.

- Drive architecture practices and support Agile delivery methodologies.

- Work within regulatory, compliance, and legacy technology constraints to develop practical solutions.

- Design and oversee integration architectures using APIs, Kafka, and event-streaming technologies.

- Support business architecture and domain modelling initiatives.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, product teams, and senior leadership.

- Evaluate existing technology landscapes and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization.

- Ensure architecture decisions align with enterprise technology standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations.

- Provide technical leadership across complex transformation and integration programs.

- Contribute to architecture governance, documentation, standards, and best practices.

Required Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years of experience in the technology industry.

- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture.

- Strong experience working with large, complex organizations.

- Strong domain knowledge across:

1. Private Banking

2. Wealth Management

3. Capital Markets

4. Trading & Settlement

- Experience with Murex, Calypso, or similar trading and settlement platforms.

- Strong experience in API architecture, Kafka, and event-streaming technologies.

- Experience with Business Architecture and domain modelling.

- Knowledge of BIAN is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, and enterprise technology environments.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge business requirements and technology solutions.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
