The Role
You design the data foundation for our enterprise customers on SCIKIQ: the data warehouse / lakehouse, the data models, the governance and the BI layer. Your job is to make customer data trusted, well-organised and ready for reporting and AI.
What You Will Do
- Data warehouse design: Design end-to-end warehouse / lakehouse solutions on SCIKIQ - ingestion, transformation, curated layers.
- Data modelling: Build data models and define KPIs in the semantic layer so everyone sees the same numbers.
- Data governance: Set up catalog, glossary, lineage, data quality rules, ownership, access policies and PII masking for customers.
- BI and reporting: Design dashboards on SCIKIQ and on Power BI / Tableau, on top of governed data.
- Delivery: Run workshops, write solution designs, guide the implementation team and fix issues till go-live.
- Pre-sales: Run demos and POCs, and explain the solution to CDOs and business heads in simple terms.
- Work with the AI architect: Make the data AI-ready so the AI Solution Architect can build copilots and agents on it. Solve use cases together.
- 12 – 15 years in data warehousing, BI or data architecture
- 5+ years architecting enterprise B2B data solutions.
- Strong in data warehouse / lakehouse design and data modelling (star schema, ETL / ELT, performance tuning).
- Strong SQL with working Python understanding
- Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or similar.
- Strong in Power BI, Tableau or Qlik or any other BI tool
- Hands-on data governance: catalog, lineage, data quality, access control (Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Purview or SCIKIQ).
- Explains things simply to business and tech teams. Comfortable on the ground with customers. Good communication skill required
