Role Summary:
Responsible for electromechanical design activities using SolidWorks, including assembly and cable drawing creation, PDM/PLM processes, and manufacturing documentation for sheet metal, machined, and plastic parts.
What Youll Do:
- Create and manage manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, machined, and plastic parts
- Develop assembly drawings, instructions, and cable drawings
- Handle assemblies from simple to complex in SolidWorks
- Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ECO/ECN activities
- Apply GD&T and perform tolerance stack-up analysis
- Document materials used in sheet metal and machine parts
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and EPDM
- Experience with PDM and PLM systems
- Ability to create assembly instructions and cable drawings
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including electrical enclosures and components (PCBs, transformers, resistors, connectors, bus bars)
- Experience in Bill of Material creation and ECO/ECN activity
- Expertise in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of materials used in sheet metal and machine parts
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with switchgears
Qualifications:
B.E / Diploma - Mechanical Eng
