Solid Works Trainer (Senior Faculty)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SolidWorks Trainer to teach mechanical design from part modeling to FEA simulation and GD&T — building both software proficiency and sound design engineering judgment in learners.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum covering part modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, and surfacing in SolidWorks
• Teach FEA simulation, GD&T application, and PDM workflows
• Conduct hands-on design projects and review learner work
• Teach DFM/DFA principles with real manufacturing context
• Develop assessments and evaluate design accuracy and reasoning

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience using SolidWorks; training/teaching experience preferred
• Strong command of GD&T, FEA simulation, and manufacturing-aware design
• Ability to explain design reasoning and tradeoffs clearly to learners
• Strong mentoring and presentation skills
