Solar Trainer

Roles and Responsibilities :

Conduct classroom and practical training on Solar PV systems for ITI
students.
Design and deliver Train-the-Trainer (ToT) programs for ITI
faculty/instructors.
Develop training modules, presentations, practical exercises, assessments
and lab activities.
Train students on Solar PV system components, installation, commissioning
and maintenance.
Provide hands-on training on solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge
controllers and mounting structures.
Train participants on solar system sizing, basic electrical calculations and
energy generation.
Demonstrate installation, wiring, testing, troubleshooting and preventive
maintenance.
Train faculty on practical teaching methodologies and effective use of solar
lab equipment.
Support ITI colleges in establishing and utilizing Solar PV training labs.
Conduct practical assessments and evaluate student/faculty competency.
Ensure training content is aligned with current solar industry practices and
relevant skill standards.
Provide technical guidance and support during implementation of solar
training programs.

Job Requirements :

• 3-8 years of experience in the renewable energy industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring principles and practices.
• Proficiency in working with solar panels, inverters, and other renewable energy equipment.
