Solar Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site installation of solar PV systems (Rooftop / Ground mounted).
• Ensure execution of projects as per approved drawings, design, and technical specifications.
• Monitor civil, structural, and electrical works related to solar installations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at site.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments.
• Maintain daily site progress reports and documentation.
• Handle material planning, inventory tracking, and site logistics.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover of projects.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in solar project execution (Rooftop or Utility-scale preferred).
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical wiring.
• Familiarity with single-line diagrams (SLD) and project drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
