Solar Design Engineer

We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer with around 1 year of experience to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and supporting solar PV system designs for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare Solar PV layouts, module arrangements and stringing drawings.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and basic electrical design documents.
• Work on DC/AC cable routing, inverter and equipment layouts.
• Assist in PVsyst simulations and generation reports.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with senior engineers for design reviews and revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable project standards and requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 year of experience in Solar PV Design.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of PVsyst and solar electrical design.
• Understanding of PV modules, inverters, DC/AC cabling and SLDs.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
