Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester with strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ and Modbus communication protocols. The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating embedded software, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for embedded software.
• Develop and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform testing of software developed using Embedded C/C++.
• Work with Modbus and other communication protocols for testing and validation.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform debugging and root-cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.
• Validate communication between embedded devices and systems.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect tracking.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation where applicable.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software/Embedded Testing.
• Strong understanding of Embedded C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Modbus protocol.
• Good understanding of embedded systems and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
