Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Intern to join our team. The candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of web / Mobile applications through manual and automated testing processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Write, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform various types of testing including:

• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Regression Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Black Box and White Box Testing

• Conduct manual and basic automated testing for web / Mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
• Perform database testing and validate data integrity.
• Create Test Data for different users.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure quality delivery.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of: SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle
• Knowledge of: Manual Testing (Web / Mobile Applications), Automated Testing (Web / Mobile Applications), Database Testing, Test Cases Writing and Execution
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as: Jira, Mantis, or Bugzilla, EXCEL
• Exposure to automation tools such as: Selenium, QTP, or IBM RFT

Qualifications

• BE / BSc IT / MSc IT / MCA / MCM or equivalent
• Certification in Software Testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
• ISTQB certification preferred.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
