Software Test Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineering Intern (Manual + Automation Testing)

Company: AXISS Group (Araxis Systems Inc.)

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid/On-site)

Duration: 3–6 months (extendable, with potential for full-time conversion)

Stipend: As per company norms

What You'll Do

• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile applications (functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing)
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (web) and Maestro (mobile)
• Log, track, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps using our internal issue tracker
• Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and work directly with developers and founders
• Contribute to test documentation, test plans, and QA process improvement

Who Can Apply

• Bachelor's students (B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. / BCA) currently in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year — CS/IT or related branches preferred
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of any programming/scripting language (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
• Bonus: exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Maestro, Appium, API testing, or Git
