Software Test Engineer | Capital Market Domain | Mumbai

We are looking for a Manual Tester with hands-on experience in the Domestic Capital Market / Stock Broking domain. The ideal candidate should have strong functional testing experience in trading and broking applications, with a good understanding of OMS, RMS, Equity and Derivatives workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for testing capital market applications, validating business workflows, preparing test scenarios and test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with Business Analysts and Development teams to ensure application quality.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform functional and manual testing of Capital Market applications and trading platforms.
• Test and validate Order Management System (OMS) functionalities.
• Test Risk Management System (RMS) workflows and validations.
• Perform functional testing of Equity and Derivatives modules.
• Validate order placement, modification, cancellation and execution workflows.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios and test data.
• Perform regression, retesting and integration testing.
• Identify, document and track defects using defect management tools.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare appropriate test scenarios.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Product teams for defect resolution.
• Ensure application functionality meets defined business requirements and quality standards.
• Validate end-to-end trading workflows and business rules.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with experience in Capital Market, Stock Broking, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management or Front Office Trading Systems will be preferred.

Strong understanding of trading workflows and capital market business processes is highly desirable.
