Software Test Engineer (BMS)

We are seeking a motivated Software Test Engineer with experience in MATLAB/Simulink-based testing for Battery Management Systems (BMS). The role primarily focuses on software testing (70-80%) and includes software development activities (20%). The candidate should have strong expertise in Requirement-Based Testing, Test Case Development, MIL, SIL, and HIL testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on system and software requirements.
• Perform Requirement-Based Testing (RBT) to ensure complete requirement coverage and traceability.
• Execute and maintain MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing activities.
• Utilize MATLAB/Simulink and Simulink Test Manager for test automation and validation.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Work closely with software development and system engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Support software integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Generate and maintain test documentation, reports, and traceability matrices.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing within Automotive Embedded Systems or BMS domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing.
• Good understanding of Requirement-Based Testing (RBT).
• Expertise in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with Simulink Test Manager.
• Knowledge of Automotive Software Development Lifecycle (V-Model preferred).
• Good debugging and analytical skills.
