Software Test Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain performance and load tests based on defined system requirements, test plans and product designs.
• Build reusable automated tests for backend and frontend applications using approved automation frameworks and coding standards.
• Maintain performance testing infrastructure, test tools and containerized execution environments.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis and support resolution of complex technical issues.
• Track testing metrics, risks, dependencies, coverage, defects and project quality status while maintaining testing artifacts and reports.

Skills Required:

• Three to seven years of relevant experience in software test automation and performance testing.
• Professional experience with C# and development of maintainable automated test solutions.
• Strong experience in performance, load and non-functional testing for distributed software systems, including system-level test design and analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation for backend or frontend applications, with an understanding of reusable test framework design.
• Ability to work with test infrastructure, containerized environments, continuous integration pipelines and software testing metrics.

Good to Have:

• Experience with API testing and validation of service-based applications.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
