Role Description This remote internship role for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer involves supporting the quality and reliability of Perfectum AI’s learning platform. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will help design and execute manual test cases, log and track defects, and collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues. The role includes participating in regression and functional testing, reviewing new features for potential quality risks, and contributing to test documentation and reports. The intern will work closely with the engineering team to learn best practices in software quality assurance and help ensure a stable and user-friendly product.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply core principles of Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance to real-world projects.
- Hands-on skills in Manual Testing, including writing test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
- Basic understanding of Software Development concepts and workflows to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools and version control systems is beneficial.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in AI-driven products and learning technologies, with a willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
