Software QA Engineer - Advanced, Test Automation & AI

We are looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and modern quality engineering practices to help ensure the reliability and quality of our software products. In this role, you will design and implement automated testing solutions across functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end scenarios. You will work closely with Product Management, Software Development, Quality Engineering, and other stakeholders to define effective test strategies and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The role also provides an opportunity to work with AI-agent-driven workflows, LLM-based applications, knowledge graph technologies, and modern test automation approaches. The ideal candidate combines strong programming and automation skills with analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, curiosity, and a strong quality mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation: Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using appropriate tools and programming languages.
• Drive end-to-end quality: Partner with Product Managers, Developers, Quality Engineers, and business stakeholders to understand workflows, define test strategies, identify risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and releases.
• Automate continuous testing: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous feedback, accelerate defect detection, and improve release confidence.
• Test APIs, data, and integrations: Design and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, validate database results, and work with structured data and SPARQL queries for RDF/knowledge-graph-based applications.
• Test AI and agentic workflows: Develop testing approaches for AI-agent-driven workflows and LLM-based applications, evaluating functional behavior, workflow reliability, accuracy, and expected outcomes.
• Investigate and communicate quality issues: Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify root causes, document defects, and collaborate with development teams to drive timely resolution.
• Continuously improve automation: Enhance existing frameworks, expand automation coverage, improve maintainability and execution efficiency, and maintain clear documentation for test assets, results, and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar programming language, with the ability to develop maintainable automation solutions.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon Studio, PyTest, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with API testing and automation, including RESTful APIs, tools such as Postman/Swagger, and database validation.
• Experience writing, optimizing, and validating SPARQL queries, including validating data accuracy and query results for RDF/knowledge graph-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent, including integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing AI-agent-driven workflows, LLM-based applications, or Generative AI solutions, including familiarity with tools such as Anthropic Claude or similar technologies.
• Experience with AI-agent orchestration frameworks and evaluation approaches.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Performance testing experience using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with security testing practices, including DAST and penetration testing concepts.
• Experience testing browser-based applications across functionality, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Data Science, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, RDF, or Knowledge Graph technologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
