Software QA and Manual Testing Engineers

Role & Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans and test scenarios in tools like Jira.
• Develop test scripts for Java/ J2EE web applications
• Rigorously plan, write and execute test scripts.
• Create and maintain test data, tools and scripts.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Execute test plans manually and conduct functional and exploratory testing.
• Perform Manual testing in line with defined process to meet agreed time frames and appropriately use test related tools.
• Perform test modifications for our Gaming and Fintech products to ensure that they are fit for purpose, consistent and compliant with delivery standard guidelines.
• Ensure that all the developments/ modifications are regression testable and delivered as per planned schedule. Candidate Profile

Desired Education, Experience And Competencies

• BE/ B Tech/ MCA with 3 plus year experience in manual testing, QA processes, creating test plans & test cases frameworks for highly scalable applications and platform development.
• Hands-on experience in developing user test cases, test scripts and integration with Jira.
• Hands-on with SQL database, API Testing and Integration Testing is essential.
• Hands-on with QA/ testing frameworks with knowledge of Java/ J2EE will be a big plus.
• A process oriented mindset with thrust on RCA, finding solutions, trouble-shooting and quickly developing CAPA.
• Prior experience in a true agile delivery environment such as Scrum, XP, TDD, BDD will be preferred.
• Understanding of cucumber, selenium and J-meter etc. Or any other automation tools will be advantage.
• Good knowledge and experience on SDLC and STLC.
