Software Engineering Senior Manager- Data Engineering and GenAI

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineering Manager to lead data engineering teams within the HR Information Technology organization. This role will drive innovation, shape the data strategy, and oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions across the HR data ecosystem. You will own strategy and execution for enterprise data initiatives, Cloud engineering, Data Lake/lakehouse, and data products - while managing high-performing teams of data engineers.

As a transformational leader, you will collaborate closely with agile teams and product managers to deliver impactful outcomes through enterprise architecture frameworks and modern engineering practices. You will bring deep technical insight into all components of the solution landscape and leverage that expertise to guide strategic decisionmaking. You will champion process improvements, operational excellence, and scalable capacity planning to ensure the organization is equipped to meet ongoing technical and business demands.
