Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Engineering Manager”. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and scaling large-scale Enterprise systems, possess strong technical skills, and be passionate about driving a robust engineering culture within the organization. 

As a Software Engineering Manager you will be working closely with team members across domains with deep technical skills in the industrial AI & SaaS technology domain. Here is how your work responsibilities shall look like. 

• Drive the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance enterprise systems that meet the company's requirements and industry standards.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices, processes, and standards to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability across all engineering initiatives.
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on continuous learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.
• Actively participate in hands-on technical contributions, providing technical leadership and guidance to the team as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive strategic decisions and improvements within the engineering organization.

You’ll have:

• 9+ years of overall experience with at least 2-3 years of experience handling teams of 10+ engineers.
• Expertise in few modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies notably Python
• Hands-on experience with system design, architecture, and implementation, with the ability to make strategic technical decisions.
• Excellent Technical Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience driving a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ability to clearly articulate a technical vision and energize engineers towards outcomes.
• Background in large scale SaaS systems, or building multi-tenant platforms or cloud native systems. Experience architecting technical strategies for platform products that can serve many customers.
• Good understanding of different cloud hosting offerings - preferably GCP is required.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in industrial domains e.g. SCM, Aviation, Industrial & Manufacturing industry is preferred but not limited to it.
• Prior experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a passion for driving impact and delivering results.
