Software Engineering Lead

The Software Engineering Lead will provide technical and people leadership for a software engineering team while remaining hands-on with architecture, coding, design reviews, and delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers through the complete SDLC.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define technical architecture and development standards.
• Review code and conduct design and architecture reviews.
• Mentor engineers and support their technical growth.
• Plan sprints, releases, and engineering deliverables.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers.
• Drive engineering quality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design teams.
• Monitor technical debt and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in hiring and technical interviews.

Preferred Candidate Requirements

• 7-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Git, CI/CD, testing, and Agile experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
