Job Summary:

• As a Software Prod Plat Eng Manager, you will own client delivery for the Accenture LearnVantage (ALV) product while remaining hands-on in code. 


• You will lead a small, high-performing, AI-enabled team, translate ambiguous requirements from internal and external stakeholders into actionable work, and drive quality end-to-end. 


• This is not a task-distribution role - you are expected to be a go-getter who builds alongside the team.

Roles Responsibilities:

•     Own client delivery for assigned ALV workstreams (e.g., Citizens and ad-hoc projects such as ATCI) with accountability for timelines and quality.


•     Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; set the technical bar through your own code.


•     Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams - converting ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.


•     Directly manage and grow a team (backend/frontend or full-stack) - mentoring, planning, and performance management.


•     Lead an AI-enabled team; champion the adoption of AI development tools (Cursor / Claude) to raise productivity and quality.


•     Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Professional Technical Skills:

•     Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).


•     Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).


•     First-hand experience writing unit and integration tests.


•     Proven stakeholder management and people management skills.


•     Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude); evidence of championing these tools at their org/unit.


•     Prior experience managing a team of at least 3 people.


•     Comfortable working in a MacBook (macOS) professional environment.


•     Good to have: working knowledge of frontend development (React / Angular / HTML).
