Job Summary Shriram General Insurance is seeking a talented Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business operations and digital initiatives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-quality software solutions, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and development processes.
• Ensure compliance with software development standards and security policies. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and system integration.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET, Django, Node.js, or React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of software testing and deployment best practices.
