Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality React.js and Next.js features for Swiggy's consumer-facing web and mobile products with a strong focus on performance, usability, scalability, and maintainable code.
• Translate product and design requirements into reusable React components while ensuring responsive layouts, pixel-perfect implementation, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA engineers, and senior developers throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Build reusable frontend modules, integrate REST APIs, manage application state, optimize asynchronous workflows, debug production issues, and continuously improve application performance.
• Follow engineering best practices through Git workflows, code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvements to frontend architecture and code quality.
• Contribute to modern frontend engineering practices using JavaScript, TypeScript, React Hooks, Next.js, state management libraries, and contemporary development tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on React.js or Next.js development experience in production environments.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React fundamentals, component architecture, Hooks, routing, state management, and API integration.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, browser behavior, frontend performance optimization, and reusable UI component development.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or similar frontend technologies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Git, Jest, React Testing Library, CI/CD pipelines, frontend debugging, and modern development workflows is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to Android application behavior, responsive web applications, or cross-platform development is an added advantage.
