Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack (with QA Automation)

Job Description We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong backend proficiency and hands-on experience in automation testing, to help us build and maintain modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled in full stack development (Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL or SQL databases, microservices, cloud-native development) as well as automation testing using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Appium. Hands-on experience with AI-driven tools or AI-based editing solutions will be considered a valuable advantage.

Role & Responsibilities Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Work with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend applications using React.js.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Work with AWS Cloud, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to improve system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment.

Automation Testing

• Design, write, and maintain automated end-to-end and UI test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain mobile app automation using Appium.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions early.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test strategy, coverage, and quality gates.
• Debug and triage test failures, distinguishing flaky tests from genuine defects.

Skills Required

• 4+ years of total experience in full stack development, with hands-on exposure to automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
• Solid hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or any relational SQL database.
• Strong proficiency in React.js for building modern web interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Good experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, Docker, and cloud-native development.
• Understanding of distributed systems, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AI editing tools or AI-driven development workflows is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
