Role: Software Engineer Develop high-performance software applications for real-time sensor and monitoring systems using modern C++. The role involves building interactive visualization interfaces and networking modules for mission-critical systems. What You’ll Do •Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, cross-platform software applications using modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) for Windows and Linux environments. •Develop and maintain networking modules using TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, and socket programming for reliable real-time data acquisition, processing, and distribution. •Build software components for processing, filtering, and displaying large-scale real-time datasets while ensuring low latency and high throughput. •Optimize application performance through efficient memory management, multithreading, concurrency control, and CPU utilization techniques. •Design and implement robust data pipelines for sensor, radar, video, telemetry, or other high-speed data streams. •Collaborate closely with embedded, FPGA, signal processing, AI/ML, and system engineering teams to integrate software with hardware and sensor platforms. •Participate in software architecture design, code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement activities. •Develop reusable software libraries, APIs, and frameworks that support future product development and scalability. •Troubleshoot complex system-level issues involving networking, data processing, performance bottlenecks, and hardware-software integration. •Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and test reports. •Contribute to the development of mission-critical, real-time systems requiring high reliability, availability, and performance. What We’re Looking For •Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. •Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts including inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, abstraction, design patterns, and software architecture principles. •Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, including arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, hash tables, sorting, searching, dynamic programming, and complexity analysis (time and space optimization). •Hands-on experience in developing high-performance, real-time, or embedded software applications using C++. •Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including IPv4/IPv6, UDP, TCP, multicast communication, socket programming, packet structures, network troubleshooting, and protocol analysis. •Experience in multithreaded and concurrent programming, including thread synchronization, mutexes, semaphores, condition variables, lock-free programming concepts, and performance tuning. •Knowledge of operating system concepts such as process management, memory management, inter-process communication (IPC), scheduling, and system-level programming. •Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows development environments, including command-line tools, build systems, debugging tools, and software deployment processes. •Experience with software debugging and profiling tools such as GDB, Visual Studio Debugger, Valgrind, Perf, or equivalent performance analysis tools. •Understanding of software development best practices including version control (Git), code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and documentation. •Ability to analyze complex technical problems, optimize system performance, and develop scalable software solutions.
