Role Description This remote Software Engineer internship role focuses on supporting the development of backend systems and tools that power DevoByte's digital marketing solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing and reviewing code, implementing features, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with senior engineers on software design and architecture. Interns will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software components with marketing platforms, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to technical documentation. This is an internship position designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world software development in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development.
• Candidates should possess skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Candidates should possess experience or interest in Back-End Web Development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar) is beneficial.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
