As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for the entire software life cycle – design, development, test, release, maintenance and translates business needs into working software. The ideal candidate will contribute to building high-performance, event-driven solutions that support H&M's global retail and e-commerce platforms.

What You'll Do

Who You'll Work With

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure technologies.
- Develop scalable and highly available data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB/Mongo DB.
- Build Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data streaming.
- Optimize Cosmos DB performance through effective partitioning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Integrate distributed applications using Kafka messaging patterns.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including Product Owners, QA, and DevOps engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership with team-oriented approach.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams with good communication skills.
- Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Order Management Systems (OMS).
We are looking for people with...
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing and deploying applications using Azure Functions and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for source control, collaboration, and DevOps workflows.
