Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team and support the Global Pay plus (GPP) project. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, with a good understanding of GPP systems, financial applications, and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business and technical requirements for the GPP system.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated).
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Track and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
• Ensure test coverage and quality of the platform across multiple releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in QA and software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Java.
• Experience testing financial applications, preferably in the payments domain (e.g., GPP, ACH, SWIFT).
• Good understanding of APIs and integration testing (e.g., using Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
