Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring timely incident resolution within SLA
• Monitor application logs, batch jobs, and system health; proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact business
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes
• Troubleshoot issues across Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, and middleware components
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and client-facing teams during incident/escalation management
• Write and maintain runbooks, knowledge base articles, and support documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation / shift-based support as required
• Use monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., [Splunk/Dynatrace/ServiceNow/JIRA]) to track and manage issues
