Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building enterprise-grade solutions, modern microservices architectures, responsive front-end applications, and cloud-based deployments using GCP services.

The role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js.
• Implement event-driven and distributed architectures.
• Develop secure, high-performance backend services.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Frontend Development

• Build modern, responsive web applications using React.js.
• Develop reusable UI components and front-end libraries.
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.

Cloud & DevOps

• Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Work with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications.

Architecture & Delivery

• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior developers and drive engineering best practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation.
