Role Description The Software Engineer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support club initiatives, projects, and events. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, debugging and optimizing applications, and collaborating with other developers and student members on shared projects. The role involves participating in project planning, code reviews, and documentation, as well as contributing to open-source or community-focused solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna, requiring regular presence at the club’s workspace for meetings, workshops, and collaborative activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++).
• Experience in Software Development, including application architecture, testing, and deployment.
• Skills in Back-End Web Development, such as building RESTful APIs, working with databases, and integrating server-side logic.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment, participate in code reviews, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic DevOps or cloud concepts is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in mentoring peers, contributing to community events, and engaging with student developers.
